BTL’s methods and approach

We favour the communicative approach to teaching, and pride ourselves on the quality of our services. We believe that excellence in pedagogy and teaching techniques are the keys to our longevity and success. Ongoing teacher training sessions and counselling to teachers is undertaken by our “pedagogical coordinators”. These pedagogical coordinators are on hand to give advice, make recommendations for materials and to point you in the right direction for adapting your classes to the needs and objectives of the learners you’ll be teaching.

Our teachers’ room hosts a library with support materials, internet access, and provides a space for teachers to prepare lessons and exchange ideas with colleagues.

Our commitment to pedagogical excellence means that we are constantly on the lookout for new publications and websites that we can add to our repertoire of language training solutions. This research allows us to keep our teaching staff up to date on the newest methods and support materials available.

BTL is one of the rare French language schools to have obtained ISO9001 certification. This quality certification, obtained in 2003 and renewed every year since, has allowed us to refine and improve our support systems to accommodate the needs of our clients as well as those of our teachers. This certification ensures that our quality procedures and systems are respected, improved and applied on an ongoing basis.
